About Me
I am a certified Speech Level Singing teacher who is passionate about helping people cultivate their love for singing. SLS is a technique endorsed by over 120 Grammy Award winning singers including Michael Jackson, Josh Groban, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Rachael Lampa, and many others. I have 15 years' experience in singing including choral, theater, jazz, gospel, and pop.
My love for music began in high school. I was a soprano soloist in my school choir which won second place in the 1999 Queensland Choral Music Festival. After graduating from 3 years of tertiary music study majoring in voice, I became a choir conductor in a private school and began teaching singing privately. I have also been a part of several music groups including jazz, wedding and pop-rock bands which managed to produce a couple of albums. These experiences exposed me to a studio recording environment and public performances.
I teach in my home studio which is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Railway Square (Central) and 5-minute walk from Broadway Shopping Centre, the University of Sydney and UTS (Ultimo).
