About
Rachelle's passion in singing sparked at a young age singing as a soloist in several musical productions. As a soprano soloist in her school choir, she won second place in Queensland Choral Festival in 1999. In 2002, Rachelle completed a 3-year advanced diploma in Creative Arts majoring in Voice which opened the door to working with students through private tuition, vocal ensemble and choral work at Anglo Chinese School International in Indonesia. She spent one year at the Australian International Conservatorium of Music studying music theater. She also has numerous experience in working with live bands including church, jazz and pop bands. She is currently the lead vocalist of Serenade Jazz Band that performs at weddings and corporate functions throughout Sydney.
Her continuous pursuit for a healthy and expressive vocal technique led her to Speech Level Singing (Seth Riggs) technique in 2009. Since then, every year she has undergone rigorous training and assessment by world renowned master teachers such as Jeffrey Skouson, Greg Enriquez, Spencer Welch, Guy Babusek, and Linda Tomkinson. Rachelle is currently recognized as a level III instructor by one of the most prestigious certifying programs in the world Institute for Vocal Advancement.
Her warm personality will put students at ease and she is committed in seeing the student reaching their full potential in singing. She ensures a well rounded teaching which includes vocal, microphone and performance technique. Rachelle's singing studio also offers many activities such as vocal groups, end of year concert, open mic sessions to provide opportunities for students to develop those techniques.
